PORT ARTHUR GHOST TOUR
Spend the morning enjoying the famous SALAMANCA MARKET before we head off.
Our first stop is at RICHMOND HISTORIC VILLAGE You get to wander the streets of this famous village for over 1 hour
We then head towards the Tasman Peninsula and take in the fantastic ocean and coastal views from PIRATES BAY LOOKOUT One of Tasmania's best. You will see the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere.
We then head to the famous natural attractions of the TASMAN PENINSULA including TASMANA ARCH & DEVILS KITCHEN we take a 15 minute one way walk to see both of these attractions
We also pass through the town called......DOO TOWN Dont worry your guide will tell you why !
Its then on to the town of TARRANA to see Australia's first railway before arriving at the famous PORT ARTHUR HISTORIC SITE you get to spend the late afternoon at this famous destination,there are over 30 historic buildings to explore & beautiful gardens,there is also an excellent museum and fully stocked cafe at the site.
When the sun goes down the ghosts come out to play, The Port Arthur Ghost Tour ( 1hr 45mins ) starts at nightfall. Port Arthur is the most haunted place in Australia and you will be terrified tonight....but its great fun !
After the tour we return straight back to Hobart
